Churches in Clifton, Northern New Jersey - About NLCC The church was started in 2007 in the home of the pastor, with a vision to be an agent of support and growth to the people of the surrounding area in northern New Jersey. The most potent agent of change in society is the church. NLCC has been developing and moving forward step by step since it inception. We desire to be a church modeled by Acts 2: 42-47, where individuals can Worship God in Spirit and in truth, offering their ALL before Him, connecting with Him personally and corporately. Grow in Discipleship, as they find their place of gifting and calling to be fruitful. Communicate with God in Prayer, knowing Him and presenting all types of requests before Him. Witness to others in lifestyle, words, and involvement with missions locally and abroad. Be connected to one another in proper relationship and Fellowship. Demonstrate the power of God's grace to the world. What to Expect at NLCC Corporate worship in song; at times this can be loud and exuberant, and at other times - quiet and intimate. Involvement with one another. We believe that each person is valuable and important, and value genuine relationships. Teaching and preaching from the Bible. We value the Bible as the inspired Word of God, and teach directly from it for practical life application today. Personal Ministry. We believe that God is alive and that Jesus still does what he did. During our services, we take the time to minister in prayer personally for needs, such as for healing, encouragement, etc... and value the times when God works in our lives.
